On your initial visit you will be asked to discuss the signs and symptoms you are experiencing. We will also make a detailed case history that takes into account your medical background and family history.
Before examination you will be asked to undress down to your underwear or sportswear if preferable (e.g. shorts and sports bra).
Depending on your present condition, an assessment of your posture, spinal curves and active and passive joint range of movement will be made, using the highly developed skills of touch (palpation), to assess areas of tension, weakness and dysfunction.
Following your diagnosis, a wide range of gentle techniques will be used as part of treatment and it is likely that you will also be advised to carry out exercises at home in order to maintain the treatment in the long term.
(NB: Treatments are the same price at both Harpenden locations)
